Ceramic carriers are commonly used in the market due to their low cost and high temperature resistance. Metal carriers are typically used in high-performance or luxury vehicles. They have fast heat conduction and high strength. The carrier itself does not purify vehicle exhaust gases; it is mainly the surface coated with precious metals such as palladium, platinum, and rhodium that converts harmful gases in the vehicle into harmless ones.
